Hey!

Hello people.
I'm very sorry for not posting for ssoooo long.... The last few months have been VERY busy for me. School has begun in full swing, and along with teaching a Japanese study and my "cooking lessons",(and various other things) my life has been swamped....

Pictures of our awesome annual camp-out to come soon. Woot! And I shall try to post more regularly. ^^

A Shortcut to What.....?

Summer is almost over and my freedom has been compromised once again.

Here we are at the beginning of a new school year. Funny how the lack of total freedom causes us to cherish the time we do have "free". Since my injured-ness has kept me from my usual workout routine I have had ample time to do one of the things I love most.... to photograph my Father's creation, His beautiful Earth.

Sometimes we get so caught up in our lives that we don't give one of His greatest blessings a second glance, but when we do take the time to look a little closer what can be found is stunning in it's intricacy and uniqueness.

I only regret not having the equipment that would capture that beauty best.

....Mushrooms! yes...they are EVERYWHERE, after the storm.

A little dragonfly, who was kind enough (and perhaps curious enough) to let me take some "decent" pictures of him. <3 align="center">"admiration"

"blushing pear"

A fairy home....

Are they freckles?

Summer still holds on....

"big brother, little brother"

I will probably be puting these up on my devientart soon. Feel free to browse my feeble attempts at drawing... >.<

What's this?

Real *live* Muscadines! Woot!! (I found them in our woods)

The Muscadines gave me a wonderful idea.... PIE! (way harder to make than it looks...)

*THIS* is my Father's world. Love it.
Tried to splice this with some other picture I took of the cloud-scape but I'm starting to believe I need real photoshop for that....

WOOHOO!

Had an awesome week with Christy home!
Since there are so many good movies out in theater right now, Christy decided to take us! WOOT! I was VERY happy. We saw more movies in one week than we usually watch in one year... lol I love Christy....

Thursday we went to Batman "The Dark Knight".
Friday, X Files "I Want to Believe"!!! AH!!

And then we went to Prince Caspian with everybody (excepting Mom)

Both of the first ones were a bit to much for the younger boys so it was just me, Christy, Andrea, and Jason.) Amazingly we liked all of them! And we are a pretty critical bunch. It was a BLAST and half....

My mom had surgery on her lower back Thursday. It's a pretty dangerous surgery, but she seems to be doing well. She came home two days ago.
Please keep her in your prayers.... and praise God for her progress! It is truely beyond what we thought it would be!
Thanks <3

......turn your eyes upon Jesus....

O soul, are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness you see?
There’s light for a look at the Savior,
And life more abundant and free!

Refrain:Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.

Through death into life everlasting
He passed, and we follow Him there;
O’er us sin no more hath dominion—
For more than conquerors we are!

His Word shall not fail you—He promised;
Believe Him, and all will be well:
Then go to a world that is dying,
His perfect salvation to tell!
