...All my troubles seemed so far away.....

Had another great bible study at the B.'s house. One of the best teachers I know will be teaching us every Friday for while! I'm excited. The theme is "What will you do with the time that's left?". Pretty cool.
I'm a little sore today from being pummeled by a GIANT boy while playing capture the flag (he tried to capture our flag and didn't notice me running full force to apprehend him- ouch) ...but I'm "surprisingly" tougher than I look.
It was a pretty fun time, but it would have been better with "big brother" there. :(

Earth Day!

Well, today I threw all my garbage (including the cans) into my pond, cut down a perfectly good tree and started a bonfire, and thew some pebbles at a squirrel, all to celebrate........EARTH DAY!
Just kidden'.
I actually made it a day, went to the park, wadded in a gorgeous brook, and threw a frisbee with my sis.
See I'm good..... okay okay I may have accidentally thrown the frisbee at a squirrel, but hey it I wasn't on purpose.

Poor Jean...

AGH! I miss my camera!! I keep seeing things all around me that would make amazing pictures....I wish I knew were she was.... I might end up stealing my sister's. Hhhmm. :)

Why am I here?

I often wonder what God has purposed for my short life here on earth.
Sometimes it seems as though my life has little purpose (if any) in the plan I see unfolding around me.
While, it is apparent that I am here for some reason in the grand scheme of things, for if I was not, I don't believe I would be alive today.
Perhaps God has given me some hidden purpose that I cannot see until later in my life. Or I, possibly, am here only to keep this house in one piece, or I was placed here to influence one of my brothers or sisters who will one day bring millions to Christ.
I may never know..... but until the day that I do, I am convinced that, whatever I am here for, I must try to give all that I am to accomplish it, to the glory of my Father.

And maybe I should just leave the purpose of it all, up to Him.

Healthy Eating

I just finished a ginormous salad mom made for lunch, very good by the way.
And just to make it a rounded meal I'm having a bowl of ice cream! Mocha Almond at that.

Just got home from the B. house. It was a great study. We are continuing to learn more about the Lord's Prayer. It's so awesome! It amazes me that one can know something most of their lives and never really know what it means entirely.

Since I have lost my teacher, (since November) Anna is trying to teach me. I feel sorry for her, but I'm glad to have a bit of motivation. :)
I know I will probably never be as good as her, but it's worth a shot, right?
